EGF and its companies were recognised with the Gold Award from the Portuguese Association of Business Ethics (APEE), in the Environmental Impact Management category, for the ‘Virtual Visits - from Waste to Resources’ project.
Emídio Pinheiro, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Marisa Nobre, EGF's Marketing and Communications Director, attended the ceremony to recognise the APEE's Social Responsibility and Sustainability Practices.
EGF has developed ‘Virtual Visits - From Waste to Resources’, an innovative technological project that aims to show the public how its 169 urban waste treatment and recovery units, distributed among its 11 concessionaires, work.
